Highlights: Emily Schneider led the team with a game-high 13 kills, putting her hitting percentage at an impressive .765 percent

Coach’s Thoughts: “I think the first set was an interesting finish and … my staff is talking about how we need to close and finish sets a little bit better. For the most part it’s good to be able to win at home obviously and to be able to win in four is good,” head coach Melissa Myers said.

Results: ISU 3, Evansville 0

Highlights: The lady Redbirds moved their record to 4-0 in conference play and 10-5 overall. They have now won six matches in a row. Ashley Rosch had a match-high 16 kills.

Football

Date: Sept. 27

Opponent: Austin Peay

Results: ISU 55, APSU 6

Highlights: Tre Roberson had a career best 222 yards and four passing touchdowns. Running back Marshaun Coprich rushed for 156 yards on 14 carries and picked up two scores. They will open up conference play next saturday against South Dakota State.
