stash bash

Illinois State Athletics will host a special tailgate party called the Spack “Stasch Bash” prior to the Redbird football team’s game against nationally ranked South Dakota State on Oct. 29.

Redbird fans are encouraged to convene at the G-82 parking lot and participate in the party named after head coach Brock Spack and have fun activities such as watching college games on big screen televisions, eating food samples from Chik-Fil-A and Buffalo Wild Wings, and listening to DJ music. Redbird fans will also be given Spack ‘Stasches from members of the Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, the sponsor of the South Dakota State game and the official hospital sponsor of ISU Athletics.

With the Spack ‘Stasches, game attendees will have the chance to emulate Spack. It has been a tradition for Redbird fans to wear the Stasches’ at football games since he came to coach the team in 2009.
