Former Illinois State football player Colton Underwood was one of 15 players released by the Oakland Raiders Monday. Originally undrafted in 2014, Underwood had stints with the two other NFL franchises (Chargers and Eagles).

Underwood was recently in the news after asking out gold-medal-winning gymnast Aly Raisman on a date via video. Underwood may be able to participate as a member of Oakland’s practice squad.

Hailing from Washington, Ill., the tight end did not record any catches in any of the Raiders’ three preseason games.
