This weekend is the 49-year anniversary of the Snowbird Open Golf Tournament hosted by Bloomington Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts. The tournament is set to take place New Year's Day at Highland Park Golf Course.

Bloomington’s Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts department will host the annual Snowbird Open Golf Tournament from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Highland Park Golf Course.  

This year will be the 49th anniversary of the Snowbird Open. The nine-hole round will take place on the course’s back nine.  

The clubhouse opens at 9 a.m. and all golfers must tee off by noon.  

The fee is $2 per person. There are no tee times and golfers do not need to keep score. Carts will have limited availability weather permitting.
