Looking for a way to kick off the summer?

Consider checking out the following events in Bloomington-Normal: 

ISU Baseball vs. UIC 

Illinois State baseball is facing off against University of Illinois at Chicago 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Duffy Bass Field. 

The game is free to attend. 


Thaddeus Tukes 

Vibraphonist and jazz composer Thaddeus Tukes is performing 8 to 11 p.m. Friday at Jazz Up Front in Bloomington. 

The event is 21+ and costs $20 per ticket. 


Downtown Bloomington Farmers Market 

The Downtown Bloomington Farmers Market is being held 7:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Downtown square. 

The list of vendors can be found on the Downtown Bloomington website. 


Free Family Day 

A free event filled with fun for the whole family is being held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Tipton Park. 

The park will be filled with games, activities, inflatables and more.

Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet 

Show your appreciation for your mom by coming out to DESTIHL’s Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet. 

The buffet is taking place 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Barrel Room at DESTIHL Brewery. 

The price is $55 for adults and $15 for children 12.
