Illinois State University raised $31.2 million in private support funding for the recent fiscal year.Â
According to ISU news, this is the first time the university has raised over $30 million without a gift commitment of more than $10 million.Â
Eighty-nine new scholarships were added in the fiscal year, increasing the total number of endowed funds to 962 and scholarships to over 2,700.
The figure was reached in part due to a $5 million gift for the College of Education. Birds Give Back also raised over $960 thousand from over 2,900 donors.Â
