The McLean County Health Department (MCHD) is reporting one new death related to COVID-19, bringing the total deaths in McLean County to 284.
The death was a female in her 90s who was associated with long-term care.
MCHD is reporting 87 new COVID-19 cases since Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to 24,294.
Currently, 581 individuals are isolating at home. A total of 23,405 individuals have completed isolation and are considered recovered.
There are 24 McLean County residents hospitalized, and 27 total patients hospitalized in McLean County hospitals for COVID-19. McLean County hospitals are reporting 96% of intensive care unit beds in use and 99% of total beds in use.
Over 598,400 tests have resulted in a cumulative positivity rate of 4.1%, and the rolling seven-day positivity rate through Thursday is 3.9%.
McLean County is experiencing high community transmission based on the seven-day moving average of 261.20 cases per 100,000 individuals as of Wednesday's data.
About 211,654 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in McLean County. Of McLean County, 55.75% of the population is fully vaccinated and 57.43% of all Illinois residents are fully vaccinated.
In McLean County, 59.18% of individuals ages 12 to 17, 60.39% of individuals ages 18 to 64 and 90.51% of individuals ages 65 and older are fully vaccinated.
MCHD has added five vaccination clinics. For those ages 5 to 11, clinics will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 30 and Dec. 7 and from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 2 at Grossinger Motors Arena. For those ages 12 and older, clinics will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Dec. 2 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 9 at Grossinger Motors Arena.
Children ages 5 to 11 must have their appointment scheduled ahead of time by calling MCHD call center at (309) 888-5600.
MCHD call center is open between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday to schedule vaccine appointments. Those interested can call to schedule an appointment or find a nearby vaccination clinic online.
They are also offering COVID-19 booster shots of all three vaccines. Individuals should check the CDC's website to see if they are eligible for a booster shot.
