The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for McLean County beginning 9 p.m. Tuesday and lasting until 6 p.m. Wednesday.Â
The advisory estimates 2 to 4 inches of snowfall and slippery road conditions Wednesday morning.Â
A winter storm will bring accumulating snow to the area late tonight-Wed. The heaviest snow will fall between the I-72 & I-70 corridors with locally higher amounts possibly exceeding 8" near & north of I-70. The City of Bloomington has lifted the parking ban as snow plows have finished clearing snow.Â
The Town of Normal also banned street parking on all streets in town from 5 a.m. Wednesday to noon Thursday. Free parking is available at public parks including Maxwell and Fairview.
