Tijana Zlatanovic and Tara Damnjanovic were named Missouri Valley Conference Doubles Team of the Week after going 2-0 as Illinois State's No. 1 doubles team to open the spring. 

The Valley's top tandem earned the honor for the seventh time, beginning its pursuit of the No. 1 spot on the All-Conference First-Team for the third-straight year. 

The duo defeated the No. 1 doubles teams from Eastern Illinois and Illinois-Springfield 6-3 to open the spring season. Zlatanovic and Damnjanovic improved to 30-16 overall as partners.
