Illinois State football will be featured on Marquee Sports Network in five of the Redbirds' six home games once again in the 2022 season.

Illinois State football will continue its work with Marquee Sports Network in the 2022 season as the Redbirds are set to have five of their six home games aired on the network, with the other featured exclusively on ESPN3/+.

"Having our games on in the Chicagoland area, as well as parts of Indiana, Iowa and Wisconsin, helps us connect with our Midwest alumni and showcase Redbird football to potential recruits," ISU Director of Athletics Kyle Brennan said. "That type of exposure is crucial to the success of the football program and the department, and we look forward to fans tuning in to support our student-athletes and coaches when they can't be in the stands at Hancock Stadium."

ISU's home opener is set for 6:30 p.m. on September 10 as the Valparaiso Beacons will come to Hancock Stadium before the Redbirds host the Mid-America Classic against Eastern Illinois at 6:30 p.m. on September 17.

After a bye week, ISU will close out its homestand as Southern Illinois will head to town for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff on October 1 for Family Weekend.

After a week away against Northern Iowa, the Redbirds return to Hancock for their only game that will not be featured on Marquee as South Dakota comes to town for a 2 p.m. game on October 15 for ISU's' homecoming.

Another two week stretch away from Bloomington-Normal will be followed by a visit from the Youngstown State Cougars for a 2 p.m. kickoff on November 5.

ISU's final away game will follow before the Redbirds return to Hancock to close out the regular season at noon on November 19 against Western Illinois.

"We're happy to add Redbird football back into our fall lineup this year, bringing together ISU fans and Cubs fans for full Saturdays of live sports on Marquee Sports Network this September, and continued coverage of ISU all season long," Marquee Sports Network Director of Programming Allison Bertucci said.
