Illinois State's Joe Petrakis attempts a 3-pointer during ISU's New Year's Eve matchup with Northern Iowa. Petrakis was the first Redbird to enter the transfer portal this offseason as announced on Twitter Tuesday.

Illinois State men's basketball's Joe Petrakis is the first Redbird to enter the transfer portal this season as announced by The Portal Report on Twitter. 

In 22 games played this season for the Redbirds, Petrakis played 9.4 minutes per game and averaged 1.9 points and 1.3 rebounds while shooting 23.4% from the field and 19.1% from beyond the arc. 

The 6'10" forward will be looking for his fifth college as he played for Dodge City, Kansas State and Western Carolina before coming to ISU.
