Illinois State's Felix van Dijk hits out of the bunker during the Louisiana Classics Invitational. van Dijk was named MVC Golfer of the Week following his performance in the Redbirds' eighth-place finish.

Following a 15th-place finish at the Louisiana Classics Invitational, Illinois State men's golf's Felix van Dijk has been named the Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week. 

van Dijk put together a cumulative score of 222 with rounds of one-over, three-over and five-over par in the tournament to help the Redbirds finish eighth and move his season average to 74.2 strokes per round.
